About WALA

The Washington Appellate Lawyers Association (WALA) was formed in 2001, and grew out of a potluck "spaghetti feed," which had been attended by over 20 appellate lawyers. To be eligible for membership in WALA, an applicant must be a member of the Washington State Bar in good standing who has shown to the satisfaction of a majority of the WALA membership that he or she possesses each of the following qualifications: good character and professional reputation, outstanding appellate ability, and a continuing commitment to quality appellate practice... read more →
